Challenge
During this short-term contract I worked as part of an in-house design team. I was hired because the team had created a fresh visual identity for the company and needed extra help updating the identity across various touchpoints. The challenge was to use the new visual identity to create assets that were useful, exciting, and that more accurately represented the company, as well as its values.
Solution
In order to excite and re-invigorate the visual identity of this company, we used a wider and brighter color scheme. We wanted to bring some tech into the print materials so I had the idea to incorporate QR codes to create a bridge between analog and digital. The teams that were introduced to the new business cards and PPT templates were excited about the changes and felt that the changes represented the company and its values better than the old visual identity. It also helped create consistency across teams and touchpoints.
